Warehouse Guard Killed Burned During Fire Plant

Rakyat Update. Tragis, a warehouse guard at a coral factory in Blitar was found dead in a condition of burning all over his body. The body of the man named Marni, allegedly baked when the fire struck his place of work in the village of Karang Gondang, Udanawu District, Blitar Regency.

Marni's body was only found by a grass seeker Wednesday (12/26/2018) at around 5:30 a.m. The police statement stated that the grass seeker was suspicious of seeing a puff of smoke. When approached, the source of smoke came from the coral factory warehouse where the victim worked.

"Because of suspicion, this grass seeker immediately called other residents to see the condition of the factory. When looking into the warehouse, they found Marni's body was in a state of fire and almost unrecognizable," said Udanawu police chief AKP Wahyu Satrio confirmed by AFP.

But around the factory, Wahyu continued, there was no fire burning. It's just that smoke still looks steaming. This incident was later reported by the Udanawu Police. Officers evacuated victims to Mardi Waluyo Hospital in Blitar City.

"If you look at the condition of the body that burned all over your body, it is suspected that the victim fell asleep during a fire," he said.

The warehouse building stands alone. Not into one part with another factory building. The location is also the rear. So when there is a fire, the fire does not spread to other parts of the building.

"For the cause of the fire we do not know for certain. Still in the Blitar City Police Resort investigation," said Wahyu.

While the owner of the coral factory Linda Gumada admitted if the victim served as a security guard in the warehouse. Victims keep watch every day starting at 18.00 WIB - 06.00 WIB.

"We are also awaiting the results of a police investigation into the cause of this fire," Wahyu said.
